Sharing information about service users is key to delivering integrated working, but it is important that information is shared in a way that respects individuals' rights.
Coventry's Information Sharing Protocol is a set of standards that our partners have agreed to follow when sharing personal information. Coventry's Overarching Information Sharing Protocol was endorsed by the Coventry Partnership Board on 12th November 2009.
The Protocol applies to all our public, voluntary and independent partners. It is to be used in conjunction with other existing professional Codes of Practice and general principles and legislative standards that all types of personal information sharing must comply with.
