All of these activities form part of the Partnership's commitment to narrowing the gap between the most disadvantaged areas of the city and the most affluent.
Some Coventry Partnership projects have been so successful they have received recognition for being examples of good practice in their field.

The new scheme covers six areas of Coventry – Hillfields, Spon End and Lower Coundon, Bell Green, Edgwick and Paradise, Stoke Aldermoor and Willenhall and Willenhall Wood.
One of the aims of the project is to engage with local people who know what is wrong with the services delivered in their neighbourhood and often have good ideas about the ways in which they can be improved.
They are encouraged to work with partner organisations such as Coventry City Council, Whitefriars Housing Group, Groundwork, the Community Empowerment Network, Coventry Voluntary Services Council and West Midlands Police, to understand what services are being delivered in their neighbourhood and to have a greater say in how these are delivered in the future.
Other aims of Your Neighbourhood Matters include community safety, the environment and community involvement.

Over the past five years Coventry has been awarded more than £32 million of grant funding from central government's Neighbourhood Renewal Fund. This funding has enabled work to sustain the rate of change within Coventry's priority neighbourhoods, create brighter futures and to make a positive difference to the people who live and work there.
In Coventry, the decisions about how NRF is spent to bring about these improvements are made by the Coventry Partnership. The most recent phase of NRF saw Coventry being awarded £10.6 million to spend between 2006 and 2008.
During this time a total of 43 projects will be delivered ranging from £7,000 to £1.15 million. These projects report back to the Coventry Partnership and link into strategic themes identified in the Community Plan.

LEGI is ultimately about improving the quality of life of people. It aims to do this through increasing income levels in the target areas by finding creative and locally owned ways of promoting and supporting enterprise and investment.
Coventry has taken a value-based approach to the delivery of LEGI. The whole LEGI programme in Coventry is built on ensuring that these values underpin all aspects of development and delivery.
Coventry's LEGI Programme is designed to meet the aims of LEGI and change the existing landscape within key deprived areas of the City, through a holistic and transformational approach to developing enterprise and entrepreneurship, and is based around the following key "packages of activity".
